Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using pliqa ("Service"), operated by Swift Impact Ventures ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
pliqa is an AI-powered job matching platform that helps job seekers find relevant career opportunities. We provide AI-driven resume analysis, job matching, interview preparation, and application tracking tools.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you upload (resumes, profiles, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of providing the Service, including AI analysis and job matching. We will not share your content with third parties without your explicit consent, except as necessary to operate the Service.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Some features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws (including FAGG §11 for Austrian/EU users — 14-day withdrawal right for digital services).
5a. Right of Withdrawal (FAGG §11)
As an EU/EEA consumer, you have 14 days from your subscription purchase to withdraw without giving any reason. To exercise this right, send a clear statement (e.g. email to legal@pliqa.app) before the deadline. Refunds will be processed within 14 days using the same payment method. Please note: if you explicitly consented to the immediate provision of the digital service and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right, this right may be waived (FAGG §18(1)(11)).
6. AI-Generated Content
Our AI features provide suggestions and analysis. These are not guarantees of employment outcomes. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI output before relying on it.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the Service
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data
- Harass, impersonate, or harm other users
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, pliqa is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is expressly excluded. For consumers within the EU, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Vienna, Austria, subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules. The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
